Baldwin Wallace University congratulates our fall 2017 graduates. The following students completed all requirements for a graduate and/or undergraduate degree.
Twenty-five Baldwin Wallace University students were inducted into the Beta Upsilon Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) Honor Society in the fall 2017 semester. ASL is a premier national honor society recognizing academically outstanding adult students in higher education. Members are selected from the highest 20 percent of eligible adult students who have a minimum 3.2 GPA, 24 graded hours at BW and are matriculated in their first undergraduate degree program.
Eighteen BW speech-language pathology graduate students participated in a new, distinctive service-learning program in Zambia, Africa, a transformative 15-day clinical practicum providing speech and language services at a variety of sites around the country.
The Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University started off the month of November by presenting four recitals in three days, all featuring talented YSU student musicians.
Ovation Festival 2017, BW's annual celebration of student achievement, spotlighted student success in research and scholarship, the arts, experiential learning and leadership, and athletics. The signature event of the 10-day festival was the Day of Excellence, which featured student work from every school of the University through posters, displays, live presentations and performances. The day concluded with the Honors Awards Ceremony that recognized students with scholarships and awards.
Baldwin Wallace University Coordinator of Cross Country and Track and Field & Head Track and Field Coach Matt Cole is pleased to announce that 13 student-athletes have selected BW to continue their women's track and field careers.
At this year's Student Awards Banquet, 150 Youngstown State University students were inducted into Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges. Founded in 1934, the national program honors outstanding campus leaders annually for their scholastic and community achievements.
